Often considered the shining stars of any meal, main dishes range in complexity, size, and scope. Certain entrees conjure memories of years past, like roasted turkey on Thanksgiving or lovingly-prepared birthday meals. Others herald the start of new traditions, like trying newly discovered recipes or employing new-to-you ingredients for the first time. Regardless of their origination or tradition, entrees and main dishes do not vary in purpose: to gather family and friends, new and old, around the table.
